Overview

The Libra remote head is a 3 axis digitally stabilized camera mount. The Libra features individually selectable stabilization of Pan, Tilt and Roll axis. This allows stabilisation to be selected for the best performance on each individual shot. The Libra is highly adaptable, and is capable of stabilizing a wide variety of cameras, including Video, HD, 16mm, 35mm, 65mm, Vistavision and Imax.

Uses

The Libra head is a highly flexible system, allowing it to be used in almost any situation. The Libra can be mounted vertically upright, vertically suspended, or horizontally in "low profile mode". When mounted horizontally, the Libra head will easilly pass through the door of a car, or even the window! The Libra head is also sealed against dust and water, and can operate in all temperature extremes. It also includes a built in wireless system, allowing the Libra head to be operated wirelessly. And it has integrated motion control, for recording and playing back moves.
